Hotel of Good Times... & Showstopping Colour
Sun Ranch is a laid back ultra-chic retreat located on over 55 acres, in the Byron hinterland. Opening in late 2023, Sun Ranch took two years to come to fruition, the vision of founders, Jamie Blakey (founder of fashion brand One Teaspoon) and Julia Ashwood (of the renowned travel blog The Vista).
'Sun Ranch is an invitation to experience something which transcends the ordinary, ignites the imagination, and leaves an indelible mark on the soul.' Branded, the hotel of good times, there is a world of rich colour to explore at this inspired property, with Porter's Paints used exclusively throughout.

At the leading edge of interiors trends, a striking palette of warm and earthy colours form the foundation of the scheme at Sun Ranch.
From warm white, Byron White, through burnt orange, Rosso, rich reds, Dragon's Eye and Pagoda to warm greens, including Hermes. All working wonderfully together, warmly welcoming you to explore and settle into the Ranch.

The emerging trend of coloured ceilings, was eagerly embraced throughout Sun Ranch. The saturation of colour onto the ceilings works wonderfully with bold color to create a cohesive room and impressionable style.

Eggshell Finish was used on the walls throughout the hotel rooms for both it's durability and beautiful low reflective finish, with a subtle, natural lustre.

A custom blue was created especially for this project, available on request from Porter's showrooms, Sun Ranch Blue, is as vibrant and lively as Sun Ranch itself.
